What makes detection different
Most apps alarm on a hard bump. AdreneRide validates riding context, impact physics, and tip-over lean before it wakes you — or your contacts.
G + speed collapse
High G alone is not enough. Primary crash needs impact G plus rapid stop or speed collapse — so steady-speed whoops and trail chatter stay quiet.
Extreme-G path
Catastrophic peaks (≥ 3.5 G) while recently riding can fire even if GPS has not yet reported the speed drop — covering severe lag in the worst impacts.
Gradual-stop silence
Soft braking and red-light stops (speed drop without a high peak G) do not alarm — without blocking real rapid-deceleration crashes.
Lean hold tip-over
Extreme lean (default 60°, tunable) must hold for 1–3 seconds while speed is low — separating a tip-over from a brief lean into a corner.
Alert stack
Full-screen crash/fall alert, optional LED flash and alarm sound, emergency SMS to your contacts, map one-tap SOS, and post-crash no-movement escalation.
How a crash alert fires
1. Riding session
GPS speed must clear the min riding gate so the engine knows you were on the road.
2. Impact signature
~40 Hz accel path with median + EMA filtering; consecutive high-G samples must hold (~125 ms primary, shorter secondary for pocket mounts).
3. Speed context
Rapid deceleration to near-stop or impact speed collapse confirms a crash — not a whoop at cruise.
4. You decide next
Stop the alarm if you are OK. If there is no movement after the wait you chose (default 30 s), escalate to contacts / SMS.
